I offer piano students, of all levels, a well-rounded musical experience — blending classical and contemporary styles while encouraging creativity, and freedom of expression. My goal is to nurture a lifelong love of music by building discipline, confidence, poise, and strong musicianship along the way.
Where: Piano lessons are offered online via Zoom or in person at my San Anselmo studio, designed to fit your busy schedule.
Scheduling: Flexible lesson times are available to accommodate school, work, and family schedules.
Styles: Classical, Contemporary, Pop, and Mood music
How: Instruction focuses on creating piano techniques to build confidence and learn how to listen to tone and sound effects, making music expressive.
Levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced students of all ages. Adults returning to piano after a long break are warmly welcomed.

PIANO LESSONS
Learn how to play the piano with confidence. You will master how to read music while you learn how to listen to the joy of sound making. Tone color, sound effects, and contrasting dynamics will expand your freedom of expression.
COMPOSITION
Students learn to create a melody, whether that will develop into a structured piano piece or it becomes a song. Writing music is part of your process to create a full composition regardless if it will be played for the piano, voice or another musical instrument.

Talent without discipline does not give one the chance to develop their music potential. It is important that a student learns technical skill for playing the piano, but the potential for music-making is not measured only by their ability to play the piano.
